The FAQ

Do you Travel?

A.Yes! I am mostly familiar with locations in the Janesville, Fort Atkinson, and Madison areas and these are my go-to for outdoor sessions. I am available for hire in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, within a 25-mile radius of Janesville, WI. If you would rather use a location outside of this radius, a small travel fee may be required.

How many photos do we get?

A.Amount of images depends on the package and time investment. Please check packages for more information.

How do we get our photos?

A.All images are available via a digital download. When your gallery is ready, you will receive a link in your email from ShootProof. Here you will be able to view and share your beautiful online gallery, download full resolution images, and you can even print your images directly from ShootProof! Easy peasy!

Do you retouch photos?

A.Yes! All of the images in your gallery will be professionally and artistically edited. My editing style is true to color with contrast. As a lifestyle photographer I try to keep natural skin tones and beauty. If there is a blemish that is a distraction from that beauty, I will remove small blemishes from skin. Anything extensive will be discussed with you prior to editing. Please let me know if you would like something specific completed to your images prior to editing!

Whats your turn around time?

A.Turn around times are a goal, not a promise.
I try to post a sneak peek on my Facebook page with 48 hours of your session. Proofing galleries are delivered within 7 days of your session. All images are in your hands via an online gallery no later than 2 weeks after you give me your final selections.

How do we book you?

A.Send me a message!
From there we can discuss your wants / needs for your session and your budget. Once package decisions are made, I will send you my contract to sign. A $25 non-refundable booking fee is required to hold your date/time. This fee goes towards your session fee.

What happens in the event of inclement weather?

A.If your session is outdoors, I will ALWAYS check the forecast about 3 days prior to your session. If the weather is looking a little iffy, I will reach out so we can discuss options. We can choose to wait & see what happens weather-wise, or reschedule for a better day or time. I do not shoot in rain or heavy snow as this will ruin my gear.

What should we wear?

A.Wear something that you are confident in that may hide any "trouble areas". I LOVE when women wear long flowly dresses (when weather allows) and for men to dress up a little, even if that means blue jeans and a nice button up. Wear colors that would look good hanging on your wall in your home! You want to coordinate outfits without being too matchy. Feel free to send me a picture of your outfit ideas so I can help you coordinate outfits that will look AMAZING!
